Membership to the Northern Ireland Counselling Forum is open to all student and qualified counsellors, and those who have a strong interest in the counselling and therapeutic communities in Northern Ireland.

It is not essential that members of the Forum attend Network meetings, though all are welcome.

  • The Forum meets every three months on a Saturday morning in The Friend’s Meeting House, Frederick Street, Belfast BT1. These meetings usually have guest speakers or workshops included. There is a nominal fee of £7.50 per head to cover costs.
  • The Forum links and consults with BACP Healthcare and BACP, passing information on to the membership.
  • The Forum also links and networks with allied professionals and actively seeks best practice and cross referencing between the professions.
  • The Forum aims to have a presence at all relevant conferences and events for the counselling and therapeutic communities in Northern Ireland.
