RECONNECT – RESTORE – REVISION

Sharon Ramsden

In this first meeting of the NICF post-restrictions, we are welcoming a space for members and those new to the NICF to come together and reflect on the impact of past 2 years. For many us this has brought about significant changes to our personal and professional lives and also to the landscape of our communities. In this shared space we will get the opportunity to reconnect with one another using creative mediums, with reflective practices to acknowledge and help restore some of the losses experienced personally and through our work supporting clients during the pandemic. We may also want to welcome any new priorities or give gratitude to those things that have sustained us, with an opportunity to reflect on ‘What Now?’ As we revision the future of mental health provision in NI, the needs of our clients and what this means for the NICF, our practices, organisations etc.

The morning will be facilitated by Sharon Ramsden who is one of the NICF’s committee members. Sharon works in Private Practice as a Supervisor, Counsellor and Systemic Practitioner with Adults and Young People. She is also the Senior Team Lead with RelateNI supporting staff to deliver relationally focused counselling to families, couples and individuals.
