What do we understand about Recovery? So what are these Recovery Colleges I’ve been hearing about? In this workshop John will talk about his own Recovery and what Recovery Colleges did for him and might do for you/ your clients.
John is a Senior Peer Educator with the Belfast Recovery College. Belfast Recovery College is a community learning hub warmly welcomes everyone from 16-years-old to attend free wellbeing and mental health courses and clubs. We provide a choice of learning opportunities that includes a range of courses, an e-learning IT suite, support from peer educators and a peer mentor to help and guide you in selecting courses. We also have clubs such as a Film or Book Club run monthly. Peer learning support is available in classes, and to meet and greet our students coming into the College.
