An Introduction to Solution Focused Therapy

Marina Sweeney has worked in the field of counselling and psychotherapy since 1988 . She has been involved in the development of counselling at national level and was 2012 winner of IACP’s Carl Berkley award for an outstanding contribution to the development of counselling as a profession. Marina trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy in London in 1995. Since 1999 she has designed and delivered training in SFBT, including a certificate in Solution Focused Counselling , SFBT in the treatment of trauma, SFBT in treating eating disorders, Solution Focused Interviewing in substance misuse and advanced SFBT for qualified practitioners.
Marina currently offers Solution Focused supervision within an integrative/ developmental approach.
